Kelly Sierra is a Sydney-based visual artist working with ink and water on paper. Her practice began with a simple gesture, diluting pigment in water or resine and watching where it went. She kept looking for answers. There were none. Only movement, surprise, and the quiet disappearance of what was just there. The work she makes is built around that: ephemeral moments, briefly held, eventually gone, like everything else.
